Graphic designers are responsible for providing a wide variety of customers with all kinds of graphic products to communicate or promote specific messages and ideas. They work in many area’s some of which are: Corporate Identity Design, Corporate photography, Design Consultancy, Illustration, Logo Design and Multimedia Design.

To work within this industry you need a keen eye for detail, an artistic flair and be able to deliver a project on time. Preparing a portfolio is very important to show work, to potential customers.

Qualifications are not essential but having some graphic design qualification will help; there are also some forms of HND courses available.
